Achimota Lady Captain's Golf scheduled for Jan 24

Accra, Jan. 22, GNA- This year's Achimota Golf Club Lady Captain's Prize Championship tees off at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Saturday, January 24 Mr Emmanuel Kwabena Oteng Aboagye, General Manager of the Achimota Golf Club told GNA Sports in Accra on Thursday that the one-day 18-Hole Medal Play event, which was open to amateur golfers throughout the country, was being sponsored by Esi Cobbina, Lady Captain of the Achimota Golf Club.

Meanwhile Achimota Golf Club would hold Annual General Meeting on Thursday, January 29. Mr Oteng-Aboagye said the meeting would elect Council Members for the year 2009 and also adopt the report of the Captain and the Treasurer at the meeting which starts at 1730 hours.
