Bashiru Hayford takes over technical affairs of Kessben FC

Kumasi, Jan. 20, GNA - Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach, Bashiru Hayford has taken over the technical affairs of Kessben FC with immediate effect.

Confirming the latest news to newsmen in Kumasi on Tuesday, the coach did not however disclose the contractual agreement and terms he arrived with the management but insisted that he was happy to have taken over the technical affairs of the Club.

Coach Hayford's engagement by Kessben follows the resignation of Coach Anthony Adusei on Monday who has so far remained tight-lipped over reasons resulting in his resignation. "I am very happy to have returned to the job I love so much and hope to build Kessben into a winsome side in the near future", said coach Hayford.

Coach Hayford called on the numerous supporters of the Club to rally solidly behind the Club as they strive to improve upon their fortunes.

He indicated that his immediate pre-occupation was to fight hard in ensuring that his new Club improved on its position on the Premier League table to consolidate their stay in the premiership. Kessben lie at the 12th position on the league table with five points at the end of the Week Seven matches. The Club's situation has therefore compelled a majority of the supporters to call for changes especially in the technical bench.
