Ghana Versus Nigeria

The Ghana Premier League will take a back seat this weekend as national attentions turns to the latest encounter between Ghana versus Nigeria at international level.

The West African neighbours and big rivals on the international football scene go head-to-head this weekend with one place in the inaugural African Nations Championships at stake.

Milovan Rajevac will take charge of that game and has assembled twenty-five players to Accra for the final phase of training ahead of that game.

The Serbian is keen to keep an eye on the home based side as he looks for players who he can blood into the Black Stars but will also be looking for a healthy advantage in the first leg in his first taste of Ghana-Nigeria games.

The local Black Stars have had to beat Niger to this stage but will find Nigeria far tougher customers. The game is scheduled for the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra on Sunday
