Alex Asamoah - I'll Play For Hearts

ALEX Asamoah of Obuasi AshGold has told close confidantes that he would want a move out of Ashgold to play for Accra Hearts of Oak in the next Premier League season. Speaking to 90 Minutes sources, the AshGold striker stressed that he believes a move out of the gold mining town would enhance his professional playing career since he believes Hearts of Oak has the perfect platform to help him showcase his striking qualities.

? believe my tenure at AshGold has come to an end and the time has come for me to move on and I believe Hearts of Oak is the best destination to go from here. This is a personal decision I took several months to decide on so I hope it comes to fruition. I hope when I communicate this decision to officials of AshGold, they would not put impediments in my way, but open negotiations with Hearts.

I know I can serve Hearts better at this age and make a mark for myself at the club. Naturally, AshGold would want to hold on to me but I think it's time to move on? The AshGold striker added that he was waiting on Hearts officials to send a request to Ashgold so he can join them in their off season training programme.
