GFA organizes coaching course for soccer coaches

Cape Coast, July 15, GNA - A six-day basic coaching course for soccer coaches opened at the Robert Mensah Stadium at Cape Coast on Monday.

The course which was organised by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as part of its four-year Business and Football Development Plan is being attended by 30 participants drawn from the Volta, Eastern, Greater Accra and Central Regions. The participants would discuss topics including theory of coaching methods, practical performance, practical coaching and theoretical laws of the game.

Mr Ben Koufie, FIFA/CAF Instructor and Member of CAF Technical Committee who opened the course, advised the participants to take the course seriously to be abreast the current rules of the sport and to justify the investment made towards achieving the goals of the course. Coaches Oti Akenten and Kuuku Dadzie as well as George Dasobere, the Course Coordinator will assist Mr Koufie to run the course.
