Obrachire SHS grab both boys and girls X country trophies

Cape Coast, Feb.29, GNA - Obrachire Senior High School (SHS) won both the Boys and Girls trophies of the cross country race at the Central Region Inter- Schools and Colleges competition held at the Regional Inter-Schools and Colleges Park at Adisadel, Cape Coast. The boys came first with 48 points while the girls also bagged 23 points to place first in their division. The eight kilometre race in the boys division attracted a field of 105 athletes while the five kilometre race for the girls attracted a field of 54 athletes.

In the boys division, Jukwa SHS took the second position with 49 points, Boa Amponsem SHS came third with 89 points while Apam SHS came fourth with 104 points.

Senya Bereku SHS was fifth with 110 points while Methodist SHS came sixth with 129 points.

In the girls division, Jukwa SHS took the second position with 38 points, Assin Foso Obiri Yeboah SHS came third with 66 points while Senya Bereku SHS came fourth with 83 points.

Nyankomase Ahenkro SHS was fifth with 86 points while Ghana National College came sixth with 90 points.
