Peprah wins Tema Monthly Medal Golf

Tema, Feb. 16, GNA - Joshua Peprah returned a net score of 67 to win the Tema Country Golf Club's February Medal Championship played at the Tema Golf course on Saturday. Peter Kpeglah took the second position with 71 net beating Kwabena Boakye on count-back to the third position. In the Ladies encounter, Esther Antwi came first with 67 net, while Florence Etwi-Barimah took the second position with 75 net. The one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition which was opened to amateur golfers, was sponsored by the Tema Country Golf Club. Mr Felix Owusu-Addjapong, President of the Tema Country Golf Club praised the competitors exhibiting good sportsmanship throughout the competition.

He said the Club has put in place adequate preparations to ensure that the Golf Course was in good shape and playable for the benefit of members. Mr Owusu-Adjepong was later assisted by Mr William Asiedu Yeboah, Captain of the Club to present prizes to the winners.
