National Sports Council not a ticket seller

The attention of the National Sports Council has been drawn to the influx of many people to the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, in Accra, with the intent to purchase tickets for CAN 2008 soccer tournament, particularly for the opening ceremony on Sunday, January 20, 2008.

According to the deputy public relations officer, Isaac Franklin, the Council has not been allocated any CAN 2008 tickets for sale.

All persons who intend to purchase tickets for the tournament should go to the designated points as announced by the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the tournament.
