South Africa to stay in Sunyani

... for the nations cup

Bafana Bafana assistant coach Pitso Mosimane leaves for Ghana today to inspect South Africa’s facilities for the African Nations Cup finals next month.

Mosimane is to travel to Tamale where the team plays their opening two matches against Angola and Senegal.

He will also visit Sunyani, some 200km away, where the team plans to stay because of a lack of facilities in Tamale

The final stop will be Kumasi where South Africa’s third Group D match against Senegal is being hosted on January 31.

Mosimane’s visit follows a brief trip to the area by national team manager Sipho Nkumane after the draw in October.

Mosimane is being accompanied by Mandla Mazibuko, one of the officials who will accompany the team to the tournament
