Ishmael Addo joins Hearts in Kumasi

THE head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Sir Jones Attuquayefio, has stated that the arrival of striker Ishmael Addo at the camp of the team has boosted the morale of his colleagues.

He said there is every indication that Hearts would win the coveted Super Cup to console the fans who were disappointed by the performance of the Black Stars recently.

Sir Jones said management is doing everything to ensure that Hearts beat Zamalek on Sunday at the Kumasi Stadium.

The head of Hearts technical bench said as part of his strategies, some of the new faces would feataure for the Phobians. Those likely to feature are Stephen Owusu, formerly of Dwarfs, Kwame Antwi of Bofoakwa and George Eranio of King Faisal.

He said their inclusion in the final list would much depend on their performance in the friendly matches that have been arranged by the team.

Mr Harry Zakkour, Chairman of the Hearts managment team in an other interview said everything due the players has been settled and and assured them of attractive packages if they win the Super Cup.

The details of the package are yet to be known but sources close to the management said 40 per cent of the TV rights is likely to be paid to the players.

Mr Ato Quagraine, member of the management team, said management will pay the $25,000 to the players for winning the CAF Champions League Cup in due course and assured every fan of Hearts that the team will definitely add the trophy to the three cups already won to beat the record of Manchester United.
