Space Football Club ready for Kotoko

Space Football Club, newly-promoted Division One Side, on Wednesday beat Boafoakwa Tano by a lone goal, in a special friendly football match played at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

Space FC who are billed to face the porcupine warriors, Kumasi Asante Kotoko in another friendly,on Sunday, 30th September, 2007 at the same venue, started the match with their typical silky flair, and opened the score line through striker, Kofi Owusu in the 30th minute of the first half.

They dominated play and could have increased the tally, should their strikers been accurate with their shooting.

The Chairman of Space FC, Mr.Kingsley Osei Bonsu, in a post-match interview expressed optimism over the standard of football displayed by his boys and promised Kotoko a good run for their money, come Sunday.

“It is an honour for a young Club like Space FC to pitch its strength against Mighty Kotoko, and we’re going to make a statement on Sunday, he said”
