GHALCA releases list of delegates for elections

Accra, August 15, GNA - The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has released the list of candidates who have filed to contest various positions at its next Delegates Congress.

Contesting for the position of Cairman are Mr Emmanuel Adotey, chairman of relegated Power FC and Alhaji Ali B. Raji of Wise Fighters and a member of the Starlets Management Committee.

Vying for the vice chairmanship position are Kwame Ntow-Fiako, chairman of Division One League Board, David Mawuli Fugar, a Director of Accra Great Olympics and Kofi Manu, Accra Representative of Aduana Stars.

This was contained in a statement signed by Joyce Asante-Amoah, Acting Administrative Manager of GHALCA copied to the GNA Sports on Wednesday.

According to the statement, Tema Youth's Samuel Williams is vying for the position of Treasurer alongside Neil Armstrong-Mortabge, chairman of the National Chapters Committee (NCC) and Kojo Yankah from the Central Regional Football Association.

Kwame Baah Nuako, Communications Director of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Isaac Owusu Banson of Real Sportive, George Ofosuhene Peprah and Arshford Tettey-Oku Administrative Manager of Accra Hearts of Oak will battle for the Premiership slot on the Executive Board of GHALCA. Division One has Oloboi Commodore, Joseph Arthur, John Fredrick Mensah and Sheriff Musah contesting for the slot whilst Georfrey Oteng-Ampadu and Ernest Jascot Ampadu vie for Division Two slot on the Board.
