Mensah wins Tema Medal Golf

Tema, March 25, GNA - Ebenbezer Tetteh Mensah returned a net score of 72 beating George Lartey on count-back to win Tema Country Golf Club March Medal Championship played at Tema on Saturday. Kwabena Boakye placed third with a net score of 73. Florence Etwi-Barimah also defeated Esther Antwi on count-back after they had both returned a net score of 72 to win the Ladies category.

Golfers from Achimota, Tema, Celebrity and Bok Nam Kim took part in the one-day 18-Hole Medal Play event.

Mr William Asiedu Yeboah, Captain of Tema Country Golf Club, called on members to take active interest in activities of the club. Mr Felix Owusu-Adjapong, President of Tema Country Golf Club and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, assisted by Mr Yeboah presented prizes to the winners. 25 March 07
