Bofoakwa beat Olympics away from home

Ho, Oct.4, (Kanyi) GNA - Tano Bofoakwa on Wednesday thrashed Accra Great Olympics by three goals to one in their Mid-Week Onetouch Premier League match played at the Ho Sports Stadium. Bofoakwa came from a goal down to lead by two goals to one in the first half from goals scored by Eric Ansah in the 8th and 9th minutes respectively.

Olympics' only goal came from Kwasi Nicholas who headed home a corner kick from teammate Winfred Dormon in the 4th minute.

Olympics' Pomeyre Andy squandered a penalty, which should have brought his team at par in the 12th minute.

On resumption Olympics raised the tempo of its game but their attackers could only hit the cross bar on several occasions.

Bofoakwa who defended their lead for most part of the second half, seized the initiative in the 78th minute to raise their tally to three goals through substitute Poku Adusei.
