Zenith Bank, communications technology and services company Ericsson, telecom giant MTN and Media General were big winners at the maiden edition of Reliance Personnel Olympics and staff hangout held at the Burma Camp Leisure center on Friday December 1.
In all eight companies including Tigo, MTN, Media General, Zenith Bank, Dalex, Huawei, Ericsson and Helios Towers participated in 12 games at the event.
TV3’s Media General beat Helios Towers to win the football competition whiles Dalex won the volleyball competition over Zenith Bank with MTN also winning the tag of Peace ahead of Huawei as Zenith won draughts ahead of Dalex.
Zenith bank were the overall winners winning 18 points, Ericsson came second with 11 points and MTN came third with 9 points ahead of Dalex and Media General who secured 4th and 5th spots respectively.
Chairman of Reliance Personnel, Alex Bruce expressed his gratitude to employees of the invited companies for gracing the event and assured them of a bigger plans ahead for next year.
“Reliance is a little of over 11 years in the occupation of providing personnel and related services. Our brand is about people. A program like this is what we should have had long time ago, thank God we have started and I was happy to see people here. I wish to assure you that this is going to happen every year and add other health related activities like health screening and the likes.”
The event was held to inculcate a healthy lifestyle in corporate staff, socializing and discussing about business related issues among others.
