Ghana Black Princesses coach Yusif Basigi has reiterated that his outfit will be in good shape for the forthcoming FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in France.

The Princesses have been pitted in Group A alongside host country France, New Zealand and the Netherlands.

The team have begun their preparations ahead of the competition which kicks off on August 5, 2018.

But preparations ahead of the tournament was thrown into a disarray following government's decision to halt football in the country in the wake of the Number 12 documentary by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas - where some officials were captured on tape accepting bribes.

However, coach Yusif Basigi insists they are making do with the limited time training at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence.

"Since we came we have realised there is no much time on our side so we need to put in a lot of training sessions together in order to catch up with time so we are combining a lot of things," he told Joy FM

"You could see that we did a lot of things today just to put the girls in shape and build them for the task ahead.

"The limited time has been a challenge but we will make do with the time."

The team is due to embark on a tour of Spain to fine-tune preparations before the competition kicks off on August 5.
