Yeboah urges Atsu Liverpool move

Former Ghana legend Tony Yeboah wants Christian Atsu to make the move to Liverpool if media reports of interest are real.

The Black Stars midfielder has seen his stock rise following a decent season with Porto and an appearance for Ghana at the last African Cup of Nations.

Yeboah believes Liverpool are still a team with clout despite their lack of silverware recently and feels Atsu will be fine with the club's current playing style.

"Liverpool is the biggest team in England. It was my dream to play for them, but Leeds blocked any move when the chance came," the former Stars striker tells Footy Ghana.

"They are playing some good football and give the youth the chance. Their new manager allows the youth to play and it will benefit his development.

"He will grow to be a key member of the Black Stars and this is a nice opportunity to take his game to the next level,” he added.

Everton and Tottenham are also interested in the services of the winger, according to reports in several English tabloids.
