Women’s Championship Zonal League starts today

The Women's Zonal Middle League for promotion to the National Women's Championship starts today.

With six teams from each sector, three teams each will be promoted from the Southern Sector and the Northern Sector.

The number of teams in the two sectors/zones will be increased to eight with one team already relegated after the end of the 2015 National Women’s Championship which saw Hasaacas Ladies emerging winners.

Teams from the Southern Sector will play their matches at the Tema Park while Northern Sector teams will be playing at the Tamale stadium.

Winners will be determined after all matches have been played as it will take a league form with the top three teams joining the league.
