Wolfsburg transfer Ghanaian kid Malcolm Badu to Spartak Moscow

German Club VFL Wolfsburg have transferred Ghanaian-born Malcolm Badu to Russian side Spartak Moscow.

The Bundesliga side farmed out the versatile player to Spartak Moscow after the 22-year failed to break into the senior team.

Badu, former German U20 star barely featured for VFL Wolfsburg after he was drafted into the first team.

He leaves for Spartak in search of regular playing time.

“Today the contract with FC Spartak-Moscow was signed by midfielder Malcolm Badu,” Spartak-Moscow announced on their website.

“The 22-year-old German football player, a graduate of Wolfsburg, can play on both flanks in defence and midfield. He was involved in the youth and youth national teams of Germany, spoke at the U-20 World Championships in 2017.

“Badu worked with the red-and-whites at a recent gathering in Austria and took part in a friendly match against the Hungarian Gyori IT, in which our team won 3-0.
