Wilfred Palmer launches manifesto

A leading candidate in the upcoming Ghana Football Association Presidential election Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer has launched his manifesto at the plush Alisa Hotel in Accra.

In what Palmer chooses to call a policy document and not a manifesto,he outlines nine (9) thematic areas of Ghana football he will tackle.

Addressing the the gathered media, persons in the football fraternity, he says that lessons learnt from the Anas investigations means reforms is the only way forward for the 'new' GFA.

"The lesson learnt from the Anas expose was that Ghana football has to be reformed. It is only reforms that can change the face of Ghana football"

"I have a strategic plan not a manifesto. It is a policy document because congress will have approve whatever plans I might have before I can implement it"

"Finance committees and audit committees must be allowed to work independently."

"We’re selling the passion of the nation and we need to benefit from it"

"The RFA should be made to serve as a link or bond between the clubs and GFA to make things easier."

"We need to engage in an image enhancing drive. We do not have the requisite personnel for the development of the game"
