Why the hell is Alfred Duncan constantly ignored (Part I)

Can somebody please give me a rational explanation of why Joseph Alfred Duncan is never called for the national team?

The 22-year old, who moved from Sampdoria to Sassuolo this season, had a great pre-season and start to the season. There are a few Ghanaian central midfielders today that can and control the midfield like he does. He can dribble, pass, shoot and is very intelligent with the ball

Make no mistake, the midfielders called up, by Grant, are fine, but Ghana desperately needs a player in the mold of Muntari (when he was at his best) without the temperament.
Duncan is better in central midfield than any of the players listed below

Solomon Asante (T.P. Mazembe, DR Congo),
Christian Atsu (Bournemouth, England),

Mubarak Wakaso (Rubin Kazan, Russia),
Bernard Mensah (Getafe, Spain),
Godfred Donsah (Bologna, Italy)

Wakaso is doing his best, but he’s defiantly not the one. Agyeman-Badu has become a bench player. Donsah is too young. The others are either wingers or defensive players in nature

Standing 5'10", Duncan is very strong considering his size and is able to hold off much bigger players. A good turn of pace, coupled with good vision and awareness of his surroundings, means he is good at reading the opposition attacks and intercepting their passes, a skill which proved a vital defence against counter-attacks for Livorno. He will also use his strength to ease his opponents off the ball.
