IN THE aftermath of the Black Stars? disgraceful show at the on-going African Nations Cup finals, plans are far advanced to bolster the Stars? technical team, headed by Ratormir Dujkovic.

A number of the nation?s top coaches have been touted to assist the Serbian coach, Dujkovic, so as to parade a fearsome team at the World Cup finals, come June 2006.

Names making the roun! ds include, one-time Africa best coach, Sir Cecil Jones Attuquayefio, Multi-System coach, Sam Arday, as well as the King of coaches, Emmanuel Afranie.

The preceding coaches possess the coaching prowess expected to augment the technical bench of the Stars, and have all had their coaching spells with the Stars.

Coach Dujkovic has, already, advised the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to appoint three assistants to help him make marks with the Stars, during the course of the World Cup tourney, in Germany.

Apparently, Dujkovic?s call for assistance, has stepped up the move for the technical team?s revamp, while the continuity of his current assistants, remain uncertain.

A reliable FA source hinted Guide Sports that, coaches Attuquayefio, Arday, and Afranie, as well, may get the nod, to join forces with the Serbian coach. ?The aptitudes of almost all the members of the Stars? team, are arguably, at the fingertips of coaches Afranie, Attuquayefio, and Arday, and that would definitely help Ghana parade a formidable team,? the source admitted. The technical bench?s revamp, notwithstanding, a major shake-up would soon emerge in the Stars? camp, as the FA casts its net wider, to bring on board, quality and experienced players, particularly those who were sidelined, for perceived reasons.
