We will arrest “fake jersey” merchandizers – Hearts management warns

The management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Limited have cautioned unauthorized dealers and vendors of the club’s jerseys and memorabilia to desist from the trade or risk being arrested.

In a statement signed by Communications Manager of the club, Kwame Opare Addo only persons with the approval from the club or their Kits manufacturers; Pacific Football Ghana Limited are at liberty to sell these items. According to them, failure to adhere to the directive will lead to the arrest of the culprits.

‘’The management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Limited wishes to inform the general public especially those involved in its replica jerseys and all other memorabilia that selling of those items without permission from the club is unlawful and offenders would be arrested and prosecuted in accordance with the laws of the country.’’ The statement reads

They urged fans to purchase the club’s replica jerseys and paraphernalia from shops of the Pacific Football Ghana Football Limited.

Hearts of Oak and Pacific Football Ghana Limited signed a deal that allows the kit manufacturing company to provide jerseys for the club.

The Phobians will commence the 2016/2017 season with a home game against Tarkwa based Medeama SC
