The chairman of Hearts of Oak’s Strategic Management Committee Vincent Sowah Odotei has described the Rainbow Club’s performance in the first round of the Ghana Premier League as sub-optimal.

According to Odotei, management is unhappy with the failure of coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi’s technical team to deliver exceptional results out of 15 games.

The Japanese trainer recorded seven wins, five draws with three losses at home, placing fourth on the league table with 26 points.

“As management we are not satisfied with the sub-optimal performance of the team because whatever the technical team have asked for we have provided it. So we have the right to demand exceptional performance from them”, he told Starr Sports.

Meanwhile, the board chairman of the club last week pardoned management to smoke the peace pipe with Kenichi ahead of the second round on June 26.
