We petitioned FIFA to remove Alhaji Jawula from Normalisation Committee – Arhin

General Manager of Techiman Eleven Wonders, Takyi Arhin has disclosed that he together with president of Techiman City FC, Charles Kwadwo Ntim petitioned the FIFA delegation about the eligibility of Lepowura Alhaji M.N.D Jawula to be member of the Normalisation Committee.

The FIFA delegation which consisted of acting CAF 1st Vice President, Amaju Pinnick, Mr. Veron Mosengo Omba, FIFA’s Director for Member Associations and Mr Nicola Luca, FIFA Manager for Member Associations, announced the names of the Normalisation Committee members at the premises of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Thursday morning.

The committee includes Dr. Kofi Amoah a business mogul, Lucy Quist- former C.E.O of Airtel Ghana, Lawyer Duah Adonten and Naa Odofoley Nortey.

The Normalisation Committee will run Ghana football for the next six months after the country’s football hit crisis level.

Prior to the big announcement, former Ghana Football Association chairman, Alhaji M.N.D Jawula, who is a member of CAF’s Organising Committee for Inter-clubs competitions, was reported to be a firm favourite to be named on the committee after he was interviewed by the FIFA delegation.

However, his name was dramatically excluded from the list at the last moment to shock of several Ghanaian football populace.

In an interview with Ohene Bampeo–Brenya Happy FM‘s Anopa Bosuo Sports, Takyi Arhin revealed that he teamed up with Charles Ntim, who is known in football circles as ‘Mickey Charles’ to petition the world’s football governing body delegation in Acrra about the eligibility of the Ghana FA boss.

“Myself and Micky Charles wrote a petition to FIFA about Alhaji Jawula’s inclusion to the Normalisation Committee. We sent them the 2007 Auditor General’s report which implicated Alhaji Jawula for malfeasance,” the controversial football administrator revealed.
