'We have a good team to compete for the GPL title'

Aduana Stars Head Coach, W.O. Tandoh says he has a formidable team to compete in this season’s Ghana Premier League which begins this weekend.

The Dormaa-based club engaged Ivorian side African Sports in a friendly game at the Nana Agyeman Badu Stadium which ended in a goalless draw.

Speaking to reporters after the game on the team’s preparation for the league he said, “ I will urge all our supporters to come and support us on Sunday in our league game.

“We are going to prove to the critics that we have a good team for the league so we entreat everyone to come to the stadium and support us”.

“We played very well against African Sports even though we are not playing competitive football but all those who came to watch can attest to the fact that we played well”, he concluded.

The 2017 Ghana Premier League Champions will begin their league campaign against Inter Allies on match day 1 at the Nana Agyeman Badu Sports Stadium.
