Dream FC Coach Abdul Karim Zito insists his side have “a foot” in the elite division but has asked his players to remain cautious despite a seven point gap at the top.

The former Premier League campaigners beat Amidaus Professionals 2-0 over the weekend to extend the gap between them and second place Heart of Lions to seven points and look to be cruising to a quick return to the premier league.

Dreams were demoted to the second tier after losing legal battle with Tema Youth.

Meanwhile, Coach Karim Zito who succeeded Charles Kwabena Akunor following his move to Ashantigold looks on course to return the team to the elite division.

“Our destiny lies in our own hands and with seven-point difference lead at the top, we have one foot already in the Premiership,” Zito told footballmadeinghana.com

“We must not be complacent and we must go all out in the remaining games. This is football and it defies logic, anything can happen so we must attack the remaining games with all seriousness.”

The Dawu based club are top of the table with 54 points in Zone III and will next face Young Wise away in Kasoa.
