Coach of the Coelecantes of Comoros, Amir Abdou, has said his team will beat the Black Stars in the second leg of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Tuesday in Kumasi.

Speaking on arrival in Kumasi, Abdou said his team was poised for victory after holding the Black Stars to a goalless draw in the first leg in Mitsamiouli on Friday.

“We held our own very well in the first leg and we will go for broke on Tuesday,” he said.

The Coelecantes are hoping to take the Black Stars by surprise and create one of the biggest surprises in international football, but the Ghana Coach Avram Grant has expressed confidence in his boys to “do the job on Tuesday and get his boys into the group stage."

Both teams finished the opening leg scoreless as the Coelecantes stifled the Black Stars on the artificial turf of the National Stadium in Mitsamiouli.

Meanwhile, Libyan referee Ragab Omar Mohammed will be the centre man at the stadium that will hold over 45,000-spectator capacity Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
