Deputy General Secretary in charge of Communications at the Ghana Football Association has exclusively disclosed to sportscrusader.com that the GFA is open to receive any letter from all, be it individual or organisations, as they may not know its content, likewise, they will receive Muntari’s if and only if he writes one.
Alleagtions in the media had pinned the GFA to the wall for ‘not receiving the letter’ when it was brought, but the Director of Communications of the FA, after denying reports of the purported letter, added that the FA has no moral right to reject any letter addressed to it.
“We are ready to receive any letter from anybody, be it email, scanned copies, or hard copies brought to us and act accordingly. We do not reject letters brought to us and we will not do that now. Any player who writes to the FA knows where the letters must go first and not through the media.
“We are ready to welcome any letter from whoever it is. Our doors are open.”
Reports in the media had suggested that Sulley Muntari had written to the FA, apologising for slapping Moses Armah Parker, a management committee member of the Black Stars during the 2014 world cup in Brazil.
