Accra Hearts of oak has denied reports linking former Asante Kotoko trainer Mas- Ud Didi Dramani to the capital- based club.
The Phobians are currently without a substantive coach after the departure of their stop- gap coach Yaw Preko who resigned for personal reasons.
Hearts is currently playing the G6 GHALCA tournament under the tutelage of their deputy coach, Henry Wallington who has so far played two matches without embracing a victory.
According to relentless reports, the current Black Princesses coach has held fruitful talks with the Rainbow outfit hence expected to be confirmed as the new coach of the club but the mouthpiece of the never say die boys, Kwame Opare Addo has jumped the gun to quash this report.
“Hearts is expected to announce the new head coach of the club within the shortest possible time so we are still searching for a competent coach to guide the club for the upcoming season and this work has been assigned to a committee and this committee has not yet released any name out so whatever name you hear in the public is absolutely false’’. He exclusively revealed this in an interview with Cape Coast-based ATL FM.
In related development, Opare Addo has denounced reports that claim the Club will appoint former goalkeeper of the club, Sammy Adjei as the club’s new goalkeeper’s trainer to fill the vacuum created by immediate past goalkeeper’s trainer, Nassam Yakubu insisting no communications have been made between the two parties.
Hearts will face their perennial rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday in the semi- finals of the on-going GHALCA G6 tournament at the Baba Yara Sports stadium.
