Avram Grant has played five matches without a win. This hellish situation has influenced many football fans in the country calling on the FA to show Israeli tactician the exit door.

The Black Stars believe of making it four straight four world cup appearance is in tatters after losing to Egypt. The Stars are with only one point after two matches played whiles Egypt have recorded six points out of the two matches played.

Despite many football enthusiasts calling for the exit of the former Chelsea and West Ham manager, George claims they are certain on sacking the former Portsmouth manager.

“For some time now our performance has not been impressive,” George told Nhyira FM. “We have listened to what Ghanaians are saying and as management we were deliberating if we should send him to the AFCON or not.

“If we decide not to send him what options do we have? These are all questions we are trying to find answers to but nothing has changed. We have not arrived at any conclusion that we should change Avram Grant so he is still head coach of the Black Stars.

“He has contract which runs out immediately after the AFCON. It is not fair to sack a coach who have contract. If we want him to stay will be negotiating for a new contract but our work is based performance contract so before you will give him a new contract, you will have to analyze his performance,” George added.
