Ghana’s Caleb Yirenkyi delivered an impressive performance against Germany despite the Black Stars losing 2–1 to the home side.
Yirenkyi started the game in midfield, helping the team retain possession and control the tempo, though the Black Stars struggled in the early stages.
As the Germans pressed hard during the first 15 minutes, Yirenkyi was quickly shifted back to the right-back position he has often occupied for the team.

He played a pivotal role in helping Ghana withstand the pressure, blocking shots and making crucial clearances.
His defensive awareness and ability to win possession without committing fouls were outstanding.
Beyond his defensive contributions, Yirenkyi was instrumental in launching attacks, surging forward, distributing passes during transitions, and supporting the frontline.
