Watch as Fatawu Issahaku begins gym work as he steps recovery from ACL injury

Black Stars forward Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has intensified his rehabilitation as he continues his recovery from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury.

In a recent video shared by Leicester City, the winger was seen working with the club’s physiotherapists, putting his left knee through a specialized recovery routine.

The Ghanaian has been sidelined since November 2024 after suffering a season-ending ACL tear during the Black Stars’ Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola.

Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy acknowledged the impact of Issahaku’s absence, describing it as a major setback for the team.

“Of course, you need some luck. I think keeping our best players fit is crucial. Losing Fatawu to a cruciate injury just a week before I started was a big blow. It’s a massive loss for this team,” he said.

Leicester currently sits 19th in the Premier League standings with 14 points from 22 games.
