Ghana striker, Jordan Ayew, was on target as Swansea City won 2-1 at Watford in the English Premier League on Saturday.

The home side opened the scoring in the 11th minute through Carillo. Ayew’s side then mounted intense pressure in search of the equalizer but they failed to hit the back of the net.

However, Ghanaian forward grabbed the equalizer with a fine finish in the 86th minute when he tapped in from close range. Four minutes later Narsingh grabbed the winning goal for the away side to hand coach Carvalhal a perfect start to his tenure as Swansea manager.

It was his second goal in three games and it proved vital as Swansea finished the year with three valuable points as they continue their fight for survival.

Substitute Luciano Narsingh sealed victory for the Swans in the 90th minute to spark wild celebrations in the away end dugout.

Swansea following the win have overtaken West Brom, who are now at the foot of the table, and moves them within two points of safety.
