Waris completes full training session

Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris was fit enough to complete a full training session on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old picked up a knock during Tuesday’s training session at the Accra sports stadium.
But he allayed all fears by participating in a full training session under the eagle watch of Kwesi Appiah.
“I feel very comfortable with my legs and yesterday’s clash was nothing serious,” Waris told Ghanasoccernet.com
“The team is a competitive one because we all want to help Ghana so expect to see tackles flying in here and there,” he said.
Waris is highly regarded as one of the key men the Africans will rely on ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Twenty three players took part in Wednesday’s training session after Daniel Opare was given permission to complete his move to Portuguese side FC Porto.
Michael Essien and Kevin-Prince Boateng have been cleared to attend to some pressing matters and will join the team in Holland this weekend.
