Ghana international Abdul Majeed Waris has revealed he will leave Lorient following their relegation from Ligue 1.

The striker's contract at Stade du Moustoir runs until June 2020.

Lorient could not rescue their top-tier status as they were defeated by Troyes in a two-legged relegation play-off.

Majid has revealed that his future does not lie at Les Merlus and also revealed he has offers that he is still considering.

“Definitely I will be leaving. I am just hoping to see the direction Allah has for me. But for moving, I know I will move,” the 25-year-old was quoted by GhanaSoccernet.com.

“I can’t quite say where I will be going because it is still early days yet but I can say for sure that I will be leaving.

“I have had some offers. I will consider them and see which one will be good for me and my family,” he added.

The 25-year-old scored nine Ligue 1 goals last season but could not help Bernard Casoni’s men avoid relegation to the French second tier.
