Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has congratulated international colleague Jonathan Mensah over his move to Russian top-flight side Anzhi Makhachkala.
Jonathan Mensah signed a two and half year contract which will fetch him €150,000 in wages with the Eagles after passing medical on Tuesday.
Anzhi beat off competition from Swansea city to snap up defender from French side Evian.
Anzhi will be hoping their new acquisition, Mensah, with the wealth of experience that he has having played in two FIFA world cup tournaments, help them survive in the Russia premier league as they are currently languishing at the bottom after 17 games.
