Wakaso Mubarak scores screaming 25-yarder

Ghana international midfielder Wakaso Mubarak demonstrated his shooting prowess by scoring from a rocket strike for Las Palmas to propel them to 3-2 win over Eibar in the Spanish Copa Del Rey on Thursday evening.

The 25-year-old applied a canon drive from 25 yards, and his strike sailed unstoppable, diverting past an Eibar defender before forcing its way past Xabi Irureta in the post.

Eibar, who finished the game with nine men, had taken a first-half lead through Izet Hajrovic and Saul Berjon, but Wakaso used his well-rehearsed shooting technique to level the scoring for the Yellows before his side eventually won the game.

Las Palmas must record at least a draw to progress to the quarter-finals of the Copa Del Rey competition.

Wakaso's scoring form in Wednesday night's game can help him push up his statistics at his loan club.
