Aduana Stars coach Aristica Cioba says they should have won their premier league game against Accra Hearts of Oak at the Dormaa Park on Sunday.
The Dormaa-based side scored first in the game after defender Godfred Saka earned a deserved assist when Emmanuel Akuoko met his well delivered cross to head home.
Aduana were in control until they gifted a ball which Hearts striker Cosmos Dauda pounced on to level for the Phobians.
“We were in control of the game in the first half and I think we should have killed it the game,” coach Cioba said after the game
“The second half changed a bit but we were still in control and I was expecting my players to concentrate and finish the job but Hearts is a big team and when you play against them and you don’t take your chances they will definitely punish you.
“I’m ok with the result but I think we should have won.” Aduana Stars have moved to second in the standings with 23 points.
