Former Ghana Premier League champions Wa All Stars have unveiled new coach Goran Barjaktarevic ahead of the start of the 2019/20 season.

The Bosnian-German tactician will take charge of the club in the upcoming season, as the Northern Blues seek to challenge for the title won in 2016.

"I have seen the players, I saw them today, they played in a friendly today which ended 0-0, it was a useful match," he said when asked about his players.

The manager was outdoored this afternoon in Accra, having arrived on Sunday to begin his career in the West African country.

Barjaktarevic, who holds a UEFA Pro License, has coached several youth and lower division sides in Germany before a stint with Thailand side Chonburi FC.

"We have good individual players, I know these are just preparatory games, I will get to see the team more but I will get a clean picture of the team after two or three games," he added.

Wa All Stars begin their campaign with a trip to Dansoman to play Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindorf Park.
