Wa All Stars to visit Man City

Ghana Premier League outfit Wa All Stars will be embarking on a trip to the United Kingdom in the first week of December as guests of EPL side Manchester City, Footy-ghana.com can confirm.

A Footy-ghana.com source at the club reveals that English Premiership club Manchester City has invited the Wa-based club for an invitational tournament set for December.

However, the actual date for departure and the nature of squad is yet to be confirmed since the Glo Premier League will still be in session by the time. The trip will be facilitated by Kumasi-based Travel Company, Wadoma Travel and Tours who have just signed a two-year partnership agreement with the club.

Wa All Stars, owned by Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi, has maintained its place in Ghana’s top flight since gaining promotion in 2007.
