Wa All Stars midfielder David Abagna dedicates goal to injured teammate

Wa All Stars brace hero David Abagna has dedicated his goals to injured teammate Asuandzie Baffoe.
Baffoe was rushed to the Wa Hospital during last Sunday's home match against Inter allies when he landed awkwardly on his head.

He was discharged after 24 hours and the winger-cum-striker is said to be in a stable condition.

Abagna found the back of the net twice in the 3-1 win over Bolga All Stars in Tamale.

The midfielder paid tribute to his injured teammate.

''I am always inspired by the hardworking nature of Asuandzie and to be sharing the same pitch with him is enough to motivate any player not least a young player like me,'' Abagna said in a post-match

''His body didn’t follow us to Tamale but his spirit was with us and I dedicate all my goals to him.

''He has advised me a lot and will continue to be a role model in my career at any stage in life. Get well soon Pirlo , Get well soon Kweku.''
