Wa All Stars coach hopeful of victory over Medeama

Wa All Stars coach Alhaji Abubakari is confident of winning their Ghana Premier League game with Medeama SC at the Wa Park on Sunday.

The premier league after going on a month break is bouncing back this weekend with mouth-watering encounters.

The All Stars and Medeama game is one of the games to look forward to and the coach of the defending champions Alhaji Mumuni Abubakari Sokpari says his in-form side will get the better of Medeama SC when the two teams meet.

“We have to play like the champions in us at the very least. We’ve got to let the world know who owns the crown as at now. If we can’t keep the trophy as it stands now but we have to sell ourselves to the watching world.

“We went into the break on top of our game and will return same hopefully. A high-grade win over Medeama SC will build our confidence ahead of the Inter Allies game. If my boys can come to the party, I doubt if any team can contain us. Happy to see the Ghana premier league back”, Alhaji Mumuni Abubakari Sokpari told www.ghanacrusader.com

Wa All Stars massacred Aduana Stars and Liberty Professionals by a heavy 5-1 combined score line to add to their 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea in the MTN FA Cup quarter finals.
