Wa All Stars' Paul Asare nears return after injury

Wa All Stars has been boosted by the return of their attacker Paul Asare after a lengthy injury lay off.

The skillful attacker went under the knife to correct a nagging muscular tear that nearly ended career.

The exciting forward missed out on Sellas Tetteh’s Under 20 side due to the regular recurrence of the muscular tear.

The 19 year ex-Berlin FC attacker has been playing with pain for the last few seasons before the injury was aggravated at the start if the just ended 2014/15 FCPPL.

Explaining his ordeal to sports crusader, Asare said, “This injury has caused me a lot but I always give Thanks to God for whatever happens to me.

“I have been worried and feels very bad when I see my colleagues playing and I am not with them.”

“I have two months of rehabilitation before I can start kicking which starts at the end of this month. I want to be fully fit and well prepared before I can join the league.

“I really missed the league and my fans in this trying times. Remember me in your prayers to help me come back like a lion”.

The 19 year old former Berlin FC attacker has been the most outstanding star player for Jimmy Corbblah’s men before suffering that career threatening injury. His return will consolidate the departed Gyamfi from the Malik Jabirs park at Wa.
