WOSPAG Congratulates Fire Extinguishers

Accra, Feb 9, GNA - Women Sports Association of Ghana (WOSPAG) has congratulated the female team of the Ghana National Fire Service, Fire Extinguishers for picking a silver medal at the just-ended African Hockey Clubs Championship in Kenya.

A statement issued by Christiana Dodoo, General Secretary of WOSPAG copied to the GNA Sports said her outfit was proud of the performance of the team in the championship, more especially when such a feat is coming ahead of Ghana's 50th Anniversary celebrations. She therefore charged the team to work harder next time around so as to emerge winners of the competition.

Dodoo said the performance of the team shows the level of contribution women have made to sports development in the country.
