WAFA’s Samuel Tetteh regrets red card incident

WAFA attacker Samuel Tetteh has apologized for his red card incident in the team’s 1-1 draw with Hearts of Oak on Wednesday.

The winger will be missing his side’s next League game at home against Ebusua Dwarfs after receiving his marching orders at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Tetteh went into the referee’s books for a nasty challenge on an opponent before receiving his second booking late in the game.

The local Black Stars player who has so far scored four goals for WAFA in the Ghana Premier League has issued a groveling apology to his fans.

“I want to apologize to my fans about happened today, it wasn’t my intention to get a red card,” he said after the game.

“I know they are disappointed, but I want to say am sorry to be missing the team’s next game against Dwarfs.

The 20-year-old has been one of the budding talents in the Ghana Premier League this season.
