Vodafone telecommunication Ghana are interested in taking up a role to serve as Kotoko as the new headline sponsor thus initiated communication with the Kumasi based club, Sportsniteleaks.com can report.
We understand, the giant telecommunication company are prepared to offer the most decorated Ghanaian football club a whooping amount of GHS 100,000 every month, a GHS40, 000 increased figure per the current amount MTN pays Kotoko every month.
The Porcupine Warriors in recent times have struggled with finances despite MTN dulling out GHS60, 000 every month. The contract between both parties however expires in August 2016.
The Public relations Officer of the club, Kwaku Ahenkorah speaking to Kumasi based Kessben FM reaffirmed the development we gathered.
According to the PRO, there have been at least three proposals that have come from companies seeking to be the headline sponsor of the Club.
Kotoko in past years have had professional relationship with telecommunication companies through sponsorships. Such Company includes, Tigo Ghana and Onetouch which is now Vodafone.
