Hearts of Oak began their two-match Ghana Premier League empty stadium ban on Wednesday against Hasaacas.
The Phobians were handed the punishment after fans' violent conduct during a league match against Wa All Stars last month.
They were initially asked to play three matches behind closed doors but appealed the decision and had it reduced by one.
But a fine of 12,000 Ghana cedis was upheld.
