Valley View University hosts and wins 4-team competition

Valley View University showed class last weekend after hosting and winning a four team tournament at their grounds.

Hosts, Valley View University,Vision FC, Regent FC and Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) battled for for honours last Sunday.

Valley View University led by their captain, Prince Adu Owusu shrugged off competition to lift the trophy at stake.

VVU were however dealt a big blow when in-form attacking midfielder, Vincent Obeng Kojo Kyere (Iniesta) picked up a slight knee injury in the 23rd minute against GIMPA.

Further tests by the doctors revealed that the mercurial midfielder will be sidelined for 4weeks.

The four team tournament was was in preparation for the PUSAG Games later this month but the spread of the deadly Corona Virus has left this years tournament hanging in the balance.

Prior to winning the four team tournament, Valley View University had posted a 2-0 win over GIMPA and held University of Ghana to a 1-1 draw in friendly matches.

Below are the full results of the four team competition which Valley View conquered all clubs to claim the trophy.

In other disciplines Valley View University Basketball team lost to GIMPA to claim second spot.
