Ghana striker Jordan Ayew scored his first Championship goal for Aston Villa in their 1-1 draw at Barnsley on Tuesday night.
The 25-year-old beat goalkeeper Adam Davies at the near with a powerful shot just after the hour mark.
Jonathan Kodjia took a shot that forced the keeper into a save, but the ball went off to the left, where Ayew gathered it.
From there, with a bit of fancy dribbling, he had little trouble slotting it in for the goal.
Ayew's international teammate Albert Adomah lasted 87 minutes at the Oakwell Stadium.
Just after that substitution, Sam Winnall snatched the equalizer for the hosts.
Ghanaian defender Andy Yiadom played the entire duration for Barnsley.
